Clarissa Vincent plays saxophone with the Barry Kingston Trio. Jazz, swing and blues with saxophone, piano, electric bass and vocals. They formed out of the Monday night jam at The Anchor pub in Woodbridge, from which the 3 of them found a common enthusiasm for jazz standards. After working up a set of 30 songs they started being offered paid gigs and now have a set list of around 80 songs after playing together for over three years, in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Orford, Ipswich and Woodbridge.

Clarissa Vincent teaches guitar and singing songs like Neil Young, David Bowie, Oasis etc. Most people just want to learn to play a few songs to sing with friends. A guitar can be purchased at very little cost and picked up any time, without a huge effort.
Singing with a guitar is a great way to express feelings by being free to use your voice as a melodic instrument. Almost anybody can learn to sing with a guitar, as long as there is not the pressure to be a concert performer, and the idea is simply to enjoy yourself. It may take time, but it's fun to play folk, rock, indie, blues, and it's easy!

I play solo saxophone at functions, street fairs, parties and corporate events, animatiing functions by walking around the tables, engaging with people in a light friendly manner and doing requests, usually the Pink Panther, Baker Street and Just the Two of Us that classic Bill Withers pop song with the melody everyone knows. I live in Woodbridge, Suffolk and will work anywhere in Europe, by arrangement, but mostly locally in Suffolk.
In 2008 I formed the Barry Kingston Trio, playing jazz and blues in pubs, wedding receptions, charity
fundraising events, regattas and private events thtroughout Suffolk. This is a sample of our sound..
I am a saxophone teacher.
I have played saxophone since the mid 80s. I started out jamming with Sunday pub jazz bands and then went busking all over Europe. In the late 80s, I came back to Peterborough and formed a double bass, guitar and saxophone trio called 'Carousel'.
